Meals on Wheels/Elderly Nutrition Program

What is the Elderly Nutrition Program?
The program is a federal and state funded nutrition program, administered by the Executive office of Elder Affairs, which allows local agencies to provide nutritious meals to elderly citizens. The program in Southborough is administered by our local area agency on aging which is BayPath Elder Services and is served out of the Westborough Senior Center. A noontime congregate meal is also served Monday through Friday.

What does the Elderly Nutrition program provide?
Meals are provided at congregate meal sites and through home-delivered meals to senior citizens (age 60 and over). Each meal contains at least 1/3 of the current daily recommended dietary allowance of nutrients and considers the special dietary needs of the elderly.

To sign up for the Meals on Wheels Program or for more information please contact BayPath Elder Services at 508-573-7200 and ask for the intake department. To join us in Westborough for a congregate meal or to cancel a meal delivery please call BayPath Elder Services at 508-573-7200

If Southborough Schools are closed due to inclement weather then no meals will be served or delivered that day.
